Late last year, Bristol City Council’s planning committee approved Graphic Packaging International’s (GPI) outline planning application to redevelop the Filwood Road site with 252 new homes. After 100 years in Fishponds the packaging giant moved to bespoke new premises in Yate, where it has been able to rapidly grow, now already employing an additional 100 people.

Following this approval, GPI confirmed its intention to sell the site with outline planning permission to a housebuilder who would take the project forward through the detailed design and planning stages. We’re delighted that Dandara has been selected to deliver this next phase and look forward to transforming the vacant site into an attractive, green and sustainable place to live.
